Vancouver Island (part 2)

mainly pictures speaking for themselves ;) we discovered so many great places and saw animals and plants which I only know from the zoo... absolutely amazing!

After our days in Tofino we made our way back. We slept in Parksville, really close to an eagle's nest :). In the morning we visited a recovery centre for eagles and bears amongst other things. It was really interesting. After that we took the harbour ferry in Nanaimo to an island "Newcastle Provincial Park". Again, the weather was perfect so we had a picnic while watching the eagles and goose. Finally we had to head back towards Victoria where we spent the last night, with my parents getting to try sushi for the first time in their life.

Goodbye Vancouver!

Coming back to Vancouver meant for me the final goodbye to Vancouver. We spent the last evening up on Cloud 9 enjoying a wonderful dinner before my parents left the next day going back to Germany (with my snowboard and a suitcase :) - perfect!). Two more nights for me and then I would leave for my trip up North.
